Sustainability-focused research days at Université d'Orléans

Date: 07.11.2022 - 11.11.2022
Sustainability-focused research days at Université d'Orléans

The second series of research meetings in the scope of our project "Durabilité et le droit. Perspectives internes et internationales" allowed us to summarize our research and discuss the conclusions.

The first phase of our project "Durabilité et le droit. Perspectives internes et internationales" (PHC Polonium) ended with a research conference in Kraków in October 2021, now it was time for a summary of the second phase.

Throughout the week of 7-11.11.2022, representatives of the Polish team had an opportunity to meet the French partners in Paris and Orleans. We exchanged many remarks and prepared a draft document destined for the general public, outlining the conclusions we reached during the two-year long project. We hope that it will be a useful resource for people interested in the notion of sustainability and its significance for the domestic and international legal systems. It will be soon available both in French and in English – stay tuned!

Our book about sustainability in law, including texts prepared by project participants from seven academic institutions, will be also published soon.

Big thank you to our partners from Université d'Orléans, who hosted us in France and with whom we have a long-term cooperation based on our common French law programmes (read more).
